Opera Sospiro Perfume by Sospiro, Released in 2014, Opera Sospiro is a men's and women's Oriental floral fragrance with woody, fresh spicy, sweet, yellow floral, fruity, and amber main accords. Excellent for night wear in the spring and summer months, this scent has head notes of Turkish rose and fruity notes. Ambergris, nutmeg, ylang-ylang, and leather notes are at the heart while patchouli leaf, Virginian cedar, vanilla, musk, and vetiver make up the bottom notes. Perfumer Chris Maurice of Carbonnel is the nose behind the fragrance. The perfume has very long lasting longevity and enormous sillage.

Sospiro is an Italian niche perfume house founded in 2011 by Sergio Momo, who also started Xerjoff and other luxurious fragrance lines. This perfume collection is inspired by Italian and Mediterranean theatrical opera and classical music. Momo works heavily with perfumer Chris Maurice from Carbonnel, the perfume house founded by his grandfather. The butterfly is featured on the brand's velvet flacons.
