Hey, everyone. Nicole here. And today I'll be reviewing Stella Peony by Stella McCartney. This fragrance celebrates McCartney's original peony fragrance and peony does dominate the scent. Beyond peony, though, the fragrance opens with top notes of mandarin, freesia, and lotus. Heart notes of geranium and pepper support the dominant peony note, and base notes of amber, cedar, and patchouli. I recommend it for spring and fall day wear, in particular. A wildflower meadow, and the woods surrounding it

I have five or six colognes sitting in a row, and four out of five times I choose Peony. To my nose, it has a two-stage aroma. First, it smells as though you were standing in a meadow in the sun, and in a few minutes, you have stepped into the woods surrounding the meadow. In the woods, there are deeper and more complex scents, all of them flowery and natural and enticing. Again, to my nose, this is a seriously sophisticated blend of a number of intense scents which don't overpower. The price has gone up since it was reintroduced, but for me, it's worth it.

Love love love! Just like the original

Love all Stella fragrances but the peony ones have always been my favourite. Doesn't seem to last as long as the original but it's still beautiful and fresh

Bottom Line

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.
