Alien Aqua Chic Perfume by Thierry Mugler, Thierry Mugler’s Alien Aqua Chic might have an interesting name and container, but even these beautiful features can’t express the richness of the notes contained inside.
This unique 2012 perfume features top notes of lemon verbena and spicy ginger, which are followed by a strong core note of freesia. Base notes of amber and a variety of woody hints are used to smoothen out the green mixture and add a balancing woodland twist.
Thierry Mugler came into popularity in the 1980s with his bold “power fashions” and photography skills. The designer is credited with the creation of the “gourmand” fashion trend in the 1990s, a style that’s defined dozens upon dozens of clothing lines in the years since. The designer began life as a dancer at the young age of 14, but advanced to French fashion design in 1973, after working as a window dresser for many years. The brand’s first cologne was launched in 1996.
Alien Aqua Chic may be out of this world in design, but it’s still perfect for use during daytime spring and summer activities of all sorts. The alien line is one of those
mainstays of the perfume world.
And I really like this version,
which was released in 2012.
It opens with notes of
ginger and lemon verbena.
Followed by notes of
freesia, and base notes
of wood and amber.
I really like it as a spring
and summer scent, honestly.
Especially for casual settings.
