I have both the 2018 and 2020 bottles and love them equally
I found very little difference between the 2020 and the 2018 bottles. Maybe the 2020 is missing a slight bit of the animalic aspect. That could be the ambergris. Or maybe the oud is a little gentler? At any rate, if there was a difference, it wasn't enough to detract from my love for the fragrance. I wasn't sure if the question above was asking me what my favorite type fragrance was, or whether it was asking me what type of fragrance Dionisio is. My favorite genre is gourmand, although Dionisio is not to my understanding a gourmand. It is very vanilla-forward, but I think that those underlying musk, ambergris, and oud notes may keep it from veering too sweet. On Fragrantica it is classified an Amber Vanilla, whatever that means. It has ambergris -- not amber, but whatever. Either way, it is exquisite and will allways remain my signature fragrance for as long as I am able to get my hands on it. And if you have never purchased it before, let me just say that the presentation is the likes of which I had never seen! So beautiful. The whole experience of owning it is unparalleled. .

Item isn't as described its the 2020 watered down version, also received a leaking bottle returned it for a replacement they refunded me and told me to repurchase... I did same leaking bottle I'm convinced this is how they get the discount.
