A love at first sniff
Great all-rounder everyday scent in a gorgeous, gorgeous bottle. Love the dry-down of pine needles and juniper berries. This gives me clean girl aesthetic and cottagecore at the same time. It's marketed toward women, but I think this holds itself up well enough to be unisex. Works best in a sunny but cold environment; it brings out its distinct free-spirited character. Used in warm weather, this has better sillage but poor longevity. In a cold-weather environment, better longevity and slightly better sillage. Said to be a dupe of Byredo's Gypsy Water, with Colette being fresher and more citrusy. Overall a stunning perfume on its own and won't offend any beginner in perfumes, but the longevity definitely could be better. At the moment, this lasts between 2-4 hours on me, 5 if I overspray, never more. After that, it becomes a skin scent.
