The Tom Ford brand was created in 2005, but the man behind his eponymous company has a history working with the likes of Perry Ellis, Gucci, and Yves Saint Laurent prior to the creation of his own brand. Ford actually began by studying architecture at Parsons School of Design; however, his studies overseas with a fashion house sparked his interest in the industry. While with Gucci, the company acquired Yves Saint Laurent, and Ford was the director for one of Ysl’s ad campaigns. The campaign was a wild success under Ford, and indicated what could be expected in the future of his career. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

My favorite fragrance
I really love this scent, unfortunately it is out of production and the few odd bottles to be found are pricy. This along with Creed Green Irish Tweed and Floris Leather Oud are my three mainstays.

Tom Ford Extreme vs. Tom Ford for men
I've worn this around the house and to work. To my nose it is very dark, heavy, and kind of an old school feel muskiness. There are a couple aspects during the transformative dry down that I find interesting: there is a green earthiness that I like, and when the leather peeks through it is nice, but I use the word peek because to me the leather is not as strong as I would like. Overall I would take Tom Ford for men over the Extreme. Some of my favorite musky scents are: noir anthracite, musc ravageur, and creed Viking. I love ombré leather, and Tuscan leather. But for some reason extreme to me just missed the mark. I've only worn it in the summer months so far, maybe it will be better in the fall/winter.

Disappointed
Aud wood by tom ford a favorite...thought id check out his others. This had good reviews and reasonably priced so gave it a shot. Really bummed to say big miss for me. Scent is subtle and not bad but nothing special or unique. Also huge con is a lack of lasting. I couldnt smell it in no time at all. Really bummed because i had high hopes. Not for me but ill pass along to my 16 year old nephew.

Dont buy it if you dont like attention
Ive only worn it the once so far, to go to the local bar for a meal. I called in to a local shop on the way, where I recieve the first comment on how good I smelled, upon going to the bar someone else made a similar comment and then the waitress did also when serving my meal. Still smelt good when I went to bed, so long lasting, on me at least. Really pleased with it, after buying it bind because of reviews I had read online.

The Best from the Best
I use this cologne on special occasion. I receive a lot of hugs and kisses from woman of all ages. A real woman magnet. I got the best(cologne) from the best place (Fragrancex).
