Valentino Gold Perfume by Valentino, Valentino Gold by Valentino is a tasteful blend of spicy and floral accords. Introduced in 2002, this fragrance is luxurious and elegant, perfect for a woman who likes her perfume to have a bit of spicy kick to it. The perfume opens with notes of lime, mandarin, peach and cardamom. Then, the middle notes appear. Rose and water lily form the floral part of the heart, while cranberry and ginger accent the flowers well. The fragrance closes with cinnamon, iris, musk and sandalwood.

Valentino is the eponymous fashion house of designer Valentino Garavani. After studying fashion with local designers in his native Italy, Valentino moved to Paris to further his studies. He debuted his line in 1959 in Rome, soon becoming famous for the vibrant red dresses he often showcased, a shade that would be popularly known as “Valentino red.” The designer has dressed a multitude of celebrities, including Jacqueline Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor. softens skin and smells great

I was first introduced to Valentino Gold by a girlfriend of mine and liked it so well that I used it sparingly. I didn't know where to buy it. I happened to stumble on it at the Fragrancex website and was very happy to be able to order it for myself. I was using it as a fragrance, but noticed after a weeks use my elbows were no longer dry...and they were softer than they ever were. I also received alot of compliments on the smell.

Hypnotically Beautiful

Valentino Gold has a seductive quality about it. It's subtle, yet compelling. Wearing it elevates my mood, and I enjoy the way it lingers. One feature I appreciate is the way the body cream container's lid is designed to close with a snap. That lets me know the contents are tightly sealed which prevents the fragrance from dissipating over time.
