Love it better than ever now
I used to wear this all the time and was disappointed when I found out they stopped making it. I recently bought two vintage bottles and I love it even more now. It is such a classic scent: light floral, with just a hint of spice as an after note, and not too overwhelming.

Very sweet, almost cotton candy like opening. Then the stereotypical, reformulated shampoo like notes take over. This is not what Valentino had in mind when he created this back when but this is what happens when a once great perfume is owned by a corporation.

I purchased this perfume because I have always wanted to know how this VINTAGE perfume smell. I am glad to have it in my collection but I do think this fragrance is meant mostly for older women. I am in my forties so is just right for me.

LOVE my Valentine and I'm getting worried that Fragrance X will be discontinuing it being everything is out of stock!!! I have been wearing this perfume since it was over 80 bucks/bottle and in every store. Now it is so hard to find, I as thrilled to see Fragrance X carried it. It's smell is fresh, yet complex and mysterious. Smells a bit like everything, but is subtle and alluring. I constantly get compliments on how good I smell when I wear it. PLEASE Fragrance X, restock this item!!!!

Wonderful flowery experience
Valentino is a classical flowery scent but it is unique. It is longlasting and no mainstream at all. I know the scent since many years, though have not been able to find it for ages. Finally , I rediscovered it thanks to fragancex.com. This scent reminds me a little to fleurissimo from Creed.

Wonderful floral classic elegant scent
Hard to find, classic scent, special and unique, I know the scent from the 80s, have not come across it for years now, thanks to you, rediscovered it. It hreminds to fleurisimo which is a very distinquished floral scent. Romantic, but with elegance.
