Cool and spring time perfume
I would def go with 4 sprays on this one but depends of you have oily skin chemistry it might last or project more but for me it's about 2.5 hrs to 3 for more drier skin chemistry people. It's using more citrus and peppery notes so it doesn't last long and projection is moderate/low. It's sillage is around 3 ft for the first hour or so and then it's fades in and out. So not a heavy fragrance good for office wear from what I tested

Ordinary Freshness
I think this one will work good enough as summer time / vacation day routine edt and also as very office friendly. Pleasant to use in the morning to re-fresh yourself, but boring at the same time... I can smell mostly medicine / peppery / spicy sort of freshness (lavender with clary sage to blame?) and less anything ozonic or aquatic. With big variety of fresh perfumes on our market, following trendy copying instead creating something special this concoction doesn't bring anything new or exciting. I will use it for sure, but will not repurchase. No New-York for me here.

No comparison to Tsar. I used Tsar probably for 27 years. What's going on w/Tsar? It's difficult to understand why it discontinue. I'm very disappointed and as you can see, not just me, but a lot of people.

It's a Good Product, just Not Good Enough
Van Cleef & Arpels makes quality products and, overall, is the producer I prefer. Too bad I can't get Tsar anymore. Seems like nothing they produce can compare to that long-lasting, signature scent. None of the others seem to measure up.

Very Disappointed...
This brand usualy makes amazing juice (Van Cleef & Arpel) but they really went wrong with this one. So sad...
