Weil was initially founded in 1912 by a family of furriers. Three brothers, Alfred, Marcel and Jacques, decided to make the leap into perfumery. In 1927, the company started offering perfumes to the wealthy that perfectly complemented the family's line of fur coats. During World War Ii, the brand moved from Paris to the United States. Over the years, the company has changed ownership a few times. Lure in that special someone with the scent of Antilope. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Almost empty bottle
When I received the sample, it was almost empty. Only a drop remained in the bottle. Very expensive for a drop... The perfume seems good, but I can't really test it.

Would not purchase again
Purchased 4 sample vials because full size is rarely available. Two were half full, one about a third full and one a quarter full. Love this fragrance but very disappointed in the amount of fragrances in the vials.

I just don't like it.
I was so disappointed when I received this scent. It's odd smelling, and it does come across like a very old "grandma" fragrance. I was surprised because I adore Zibeline the Weil fragrance that was created in 1928. I thought Antilope, created in 1945, would be as pretty as the other Weil perfumes. Maybe it's my own chemistry, but it smells like an old musty room on me. This is one of the very few perfumes that I just do not like at all. I would love to know how it smells on others.

not for me
This perfume is clearly from another era, ans should have stayed there. It very floral, kind of soapy, and make me feel like I am an old lady. I am glad I onnly got the sample version. I do not recommand if you are under 70 year old!

How the mighty have fallen
A wonderful classic perfume which smells great as it leaves the bottle, but the perfume is lost immediately. I am reluctant to leave negative feedback as I received very professional service.

Not as I rember
I remember this perfume from the 60's. I hadn't been able to get it but saw it on the internet. When it arrived it was nothing like I remembered and I wasn't very keen on it. Perhaps some things are better left in the 60's!!

It was "the" perfume for me as a young business women in the 1960s but I find now that my tastes have changed and the perfume seems old fashioned and dated.

Antilope
I was introduced to Antilope in Jersey [Channel Islands] in the 1900`s and loved the fragrance. Since then, I have been unable to buy it in Europe and have only found it again hrough my sister telling me I could get it from America.I am now retired but when I worked, everyone used to comment how nice was my perfume. Although, I find it doesn`t hold for long I still love it and use it frequently. A very satisfied customer from Sunderland England.

A CLASSIC
First used this scent in 1969 and have LOVED it ever since. It has a clean "dry" scent that is not really floral or woodsy; very unique and I am so pleased Fragrance-X carries it at such a reasonable price. Now, it they could only ger Ziebeline (also by Weil), my life would be complete :>)
