Weil began as a furrier company in 1912 that was run by brothers Alfred, Jacques, and Marcel Weil. They began offering scents in 1927 to add to their clients’ fur coats. In 1933, the brand offered its first fragrance for human skin, the Secret de Venus perfume. Perfumes sold between 1927 and 1954 came in Baccarat bottles. During the 1940s, the family sought refuge in the United States. Though the factory and perfumes were seized by the Nazis, the family regained ownership after the war. The brand is now owned by Aroli, a subsidiary of Inter Parfums. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Nothing special, not like in reviews
Not for everyone...but I love it.
This is an old fragrance....created in 1928! When I decided to try it, I had no idea how much l would come to love it. Now, being that it's been around for a while, some will no doubt consider it an "old lady" smell. And honestly it's not for everyone. It begins as a very strong, oriental type scent, but quickly softens into a very sexy, sensual fragrance. It is listed as a floral scent, but I don't detect any floral notes at all. On me, it's a very warm, slightly musky scent. It's now one of my favorites, old lady smell or not!!!

Oldie but Goodie
This fragrance is not for everyone. I am an older (70) woman, and I'm sure the younger girls might think this is a little too "old" for them. However, this does have a lasting effect on me, and I love the "mysterious" aura it seems to evoke. It is now one of my favorites.

Fresh, spicy fragrance that doesn't overpower.
Purchased four sample s.ized ampoules. Gave one to my Mum and one to my neice; both were thrilled with the fragrance. Unfortunately one the remaining ampoules was broken in transit so I had just the one for myself (but gorgeous smelling packaging!)

Zibeline by Weil
I always used to use Secret of Venus by Weil but they changed the formula and it didn't smell as nice. I like this fragrance (Zibeline). It's just that Weil is hard to find.

My FAVORITE FRAGRANCE
I have used this fragrance since about 1976. I used the perfumed oil, until it got so far beyond my price range. I LOVE this fragrance!! I met Mr. Weil, by email, the Nephew of the original owner of Weil France, and he actually bought one of my older bottles back. He was the perfumer /chemist in the original ownership. I adore this fragrance! Especially the original fragrance of Zibeline. It was a little stronger and lasted much long than the one I now use.But was much more expensive.

Zibeline, by Weil
I Have worn Zibeline By Weil,( Secrets of Venus)since the 19780'. I love the soft clean fragrance of it. It is harder to find than ever before. I prefer the Perfumed oil...because it lasts longer, but I can no longer afford that. It is not in the hundreds of dollars ! But I also love the Zibeline I buy from FragranceX. It is reasonably priced and I wait for coupons or specials, since I am now 80 and long retired. I spray cotton balls for my lingerie drawers, spray the hems of my clothing in the closets, and even spray my linen closet at times. I LOVE THE GRAGRANCE! Thnak you! Shirley Dvorak

WONDERFUL FRAGRANCE...ZIBELINE
ZIBELINE HAS BEEN MY FRAGRANCE SINCE THE 1970'S. I USED TO BUT THE PERFUMED OIL UNTIL THE PRICE GOT SO OUTRAGEOUS! I SPRAY COTTON BALLS AND PUT THEM IN MY LINGERIE DRAWER, PLUS I SPRAY THE HEMS OF MY CLOTHING. AND ALL OVER MYSELF>

"Belle Epoch" Fragrance
I wear this perfume daily for work. It's has a subtle, unusual appeal which sets me apart from the the cloud of typical "mainstream" fragrances. Very nice and easy to wear.

I quite like this fragrance but use sparingly as it could overwhelm if too much used! Although it could be a little on the heavy side, when it warms up, the lighter citrus notes lift it and stops it cloying

This has been my favourite Perfume for over 40 years but is very difficult to get in UK and expensive. My husband is ex Royal Navy and used to look for this in various parts of the world for me. It was he who tracked it down at Fragrance X and bought it as a surprise addition to my Christmas Present - I was absolutely surprised and delighted when I opened it - it was the last thing I expected. I always get asked what perfume it is and both men and women comment on its subtle but highly sensual scent. Even with Postage from USA to UK the overall price is less than 2/3rds the price here

This was a huge dfsappointment
This was my absolute favorite, but no longer. The scent does not smell like it used to. To me, it smells like they have added alcohol and just ruined it. I am very disappointed :(
