Yves Henri Donat Mathieu-Saint-Laurent was born in French Algeria in 1936. Interested in couture from an early age, he would design clothing for his mother and sisters. He moved to Paris to study fashion when he was only 17 and he was soon introduced to Christian Dior, who he credits with teaching him about his craft. In 1961, he founded his own label, Yves Saint Laurent, with his partner Pierre Berge. The brand is known for its luxury clothing as well as shoes, jewelry, accessories, leather products, cosmetics and fragrances, with its first perfume launched in 1964. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

This is so far the fourth flanker I try among the La Nuit's and is by far the least significant/attractive among them. No clear scent really. Try it first in a store before you buy online.

An Unappreciated YSL Gem
This is the definition of sensual... This is one of the best YSL L'Homme flankers in my opinion. It is dark yet sweet. Mysterious yet inviting... The fruity vanillic note, with a hint of lavender... Backed with Pepper, vetiver and Anise... Very unique and pleasant scent... One that is worth checking out... also... Give this a chance... The opening can be a little different. Just let it settle down and it really opens into a beautiful scent.

Le Parfum is deeper, oilier, and slightly more floral than the original La Nuit. Interesting smell, even though the texture is a little musty.

My wife loves the smell! I receive compliments every time I wear this, from girls and guys asking what I'm wearing. This is truly versatile and can be worn year round, although I prefer to wear during cooler weather (spring, fall, winter). I would recommend a fragrance like Dior Savouge as a "fresh" summer fragrance. However, you can absolutely not go wrong with YSL La Nuit De L'Homme, I promise it will get you noticed in a great way. One example, I had a girl (who I did not know) tell me how good I smelled and that she just wanted to follow me around every where I went..she gave me one last sniff close to my neck and said "thank you!" with a quivering voice ................
