Yves Saint Laurent was born in 1936 and founded his self-named fashion house in the 1960s. He remained active as a designer in the company until the late 1980s. Prior to launching his brand, Laurent began a career in fashion at the age of 17 while working as an assistant to Christian Dior. The fashion house launched its first fragrance, Y for Women, in 1964. Today there are over 190 fragrances in the fashion house’s collection, with the latest release being from 2018. All products are original, authentic name brands. As a long time follower of Yves Saint Laurent I so love this fragrance! As someone who loves Rive Gauche and Y perfume I didn't know if I could like this perfume. Well I do like it. Love it in fact! None of the citrus and candy smelling notes in it! For a woman for sure!

Classy and Sophisticated
I was surprised by this. It is very pleasant and sweet while also being a very mature scent. I only get powdery sweet vanilla; green notes are in there but on my skin I smell only the sweet powdery vanilla. This fragrance is a mix of fresh and clean out of the shower with a cozy vanilla. This is great for day time wear, night out, or just right before bed.

Really nice vanilla
Lovely vanilla, very sophisticated and not overly sweet. Almost a green type. Really nice, however, does not last long enough on my skin. And for that, the price is a little on the high side. But it still tempts me for the manifesto YSL line is among the best vanilla perfumes around. If you are into vanilla, you will like this.

I use this perfume daily as its my signature scent. However it is always the final touch to every date night and or special occasion. I've been told the scent stays in the room even after I've left. It is the nicest fragrance I've used in all my years of wearing perfume. LOVE IT and highly recommend this lovely scent!!

Intoxicating!
I received this as a gift and I am ever so glad I did! It is just a beautiful fragrance...lasts long, too. I can really smell the bergamot and vanilla when first sprayed and then it dries down to just powdery goodness.

I have been using this perfume for several years. It is my signature smell. I can leave a room and friends and family will say where is Linda....I can smell her....lol. I use to purchase this perfume in my favorite stores but they discontinued the line, I was so disappointed. One day I was online and this site pop up with Manifesto...I quickly ordered it.
