I love this product and used it daily for years, BUT...
Used Y daily for many, many years and adored it with almost daily comments from others. But, after going off market it reappeared but does not smell exactly the same and I am disappointed . Please bring it back how it was.

Y, I'm told means 'there' I guess it doesn't imply 'Voila' as in a theatrical sense, but as something lingering and just..there. Yves is pronounced 'Eve' and so my question is not Y, or why, but E. Is this perfume E? The vagaries of language aside lets talk about oak moss and peach and chypre and the combinations that are famous:. Eau Savage, Diorella, Mitsouko, Cristalle, Calandre and Y. It is a great love I've never left behind, Y was designed to epitomise and anoint the House of Yves St Laurent. I purchased my last bottle from FragranceX and have yet to try the La Collection one. I hope it is as good.

Love this perfume!
This is the only perfume that suits me and I have tried them all! Classic green and chyphre notes doesn't hold that well as you can only get the toilette. I wear it everyday to feel chic and fresh

The best in the whole world!
I have been using Y since I found it in Jamaica on holidays! During sixties, seventies and eighties could get it easily. But it became very scarce! Am very excited to find it here. Hopefully it can Still be produced as dear, dearest Yves Saint Laurent no longer here.

Disappointing!
The arresting element to the original Y I used to know is completely gone and it is difficult to say what remains other than a musky patchouli residue. I was really looking forward to this however, it was not to be.

Perfume recieved
I absolutey love this fragrance and have used for about 20 years, it isnt too strong, i have even had people I dont know comment on how beautiful it smells. A very feminine fragrance,Personally myself if perfume is too strong it makes me feel sick, this is one of the reasons i only use Y fragrance the other I'm totally in love with the smell of this perfume, I will never change whilst I'm able to buy, and personally without Fragrance x I wouldnt have any as I havent been able to source thank you very much

I have been buying Y for my wife for the Springtime specially. She likes different fragrances but Chypres is most favorites. This perfume is very, very beautiful, classic one. Crisp, sharp aldehydes accompany to green leaves and flowers whirl at start. Sping as it is! Hyacinth and Narcissus with low tones Oakmoss is the main theme of this melody. Similar to woody and earthy smells after a warm rain. Fruity nuance rather because flowering honeysuckle than peaches and plums. Some time later the sharp edges have gone and left the lovely sophisticated and warm powder heart. Lasting power for Eau De Toilette about 4-6 hours on skin. If You looking for green & natural fragrances, this may be the one! Artistically balanced, not too formal, not too casual, very feminine but could be an unisex . Y was launched in 1964. And today it's an actual, charming soft and slightly bitter. Like a memories...
