The company is based in Stolberg, Germany, a small town near Aachen. For much of their 150 years of tradition, Maurer & Wirtz remained a European-focused company and although they have since branched out internationally, they have continued to keep the business in the family for five generations. Honestly. I love these fragrance's soo soo much I will never be without them.. in the car, yep, at the bedside, yep, bathroom definitely, purse, yes... I'm never without these delightful smells...they are relaxing and refreshing.

Refreshing & A Little Spicy
This cologne from the house of 4711 is divine! The orange element is spicy with a hint of bergamot and basil. It's fairly long lasting and I love using it daily especially at night before bed. This is my fav from all of their colognes.

Yummy, Summery, Fruity and Fresh
This is the third fragrance-formula I've tried in this range now and I think, my favourite so far. It's so deliciously fruity and fresh, a classic cologne you can just grab anytime and spritz all over to give you a pick-me-up. The combination of zesty, juicy sweet orange and subtle greenness of basil, work so well. It's a lot like the original 4711 in the base, with an added layer of fruity cocktail-yummy scent. You have to spray a lot on to make it hold but it's intended as a light, refreshing fragrance for day wear. Great for when you come out of the shower or even before bed. I love the packaging in this range of colognes also, and this spray bottle even looks so enticingly aquatic and fresh. I keep it on the shelf behind my fridge door however, for an even more refreshing effect in warmer seasons especially!

Fresh and clean scent
This is a scent that no one would dislike, and it's a good brand, 4711 is good at making fresh fragrances. Very citrusy and zesty. Best fit in hotter weather.

Fresh and interesting, a bit more famine, improves your mood. A bit more feminine but for sure unisex. I like it for every day use especially summer

Good for daily wear
My favorite scents contain patchouli as a base note. (Actually there are some men's fragrances that I very much like better than women's.) On first application I did not like it very much, but I do use it at home for a little citrusy smell. It is a little like Clinique Happy, but does not last as long, nor can I smell it on myself. I will stick with Clinique Aromatic Elixer for the stronger smell, but my absolute favorite is Light Blue, my signature fragrance.

I love this fragrance that is light summery and lasting.
Spray on after shower followed by same scent body lotion provides a lovely scent that follows you all day. Spritz for extended evening wear.
