Oscar de la Renta is a famous fashion designer who displayed an aptitude for art at a young age. He was born in the Dominican Republic but moved to the Academy of San Fernando in Madrid. He produced many extravagant fashions throughout the 1970s and 80s. He launched his first fragrance in 1977. Two amazing perfumers, Ann Gottlieb and Frank Voelkl, worked together to create the composition for this perfume. All products are original, authentic name brands. I bay one from guerlain i have to return it was terrible smell just not for me . I bay this one and smells almost exactly to the one i bay from guerlain but!!! Is more clean,fresh and little sweet just little . the other one have no sweet at all ,was not good at all! and super expensive. Oscar de la renta really make this parfume and notes beautiful . Good perfume i recomend this for everyone ho dond like that extra sweet or that dry lemon parfume. This is one pafume make with class!

Nice but a bit old fashioned
This is very similar to The Blue Hour by Guerlain (I wrote the perfume's title in English) but w/out the anise note, which I actually prefer. I only got the mini to give it a try and while I think it is a well done fragrance it is a bit to old fashioned for me. This is a very powdery violet fragrance, w/ tons of heliotrope. It's quite dusty and very vintage. If you are looking for a more inexpensive alternative to Guerlain's The Blue Hour this is a good one for you to try, and I actually think it smells better. I will enjoy the mini I bought for my collection. I only gave it 3 stars because it just isn't something I would wear but it is a well done perfume and if you like that vintage violet/heliotrope powdery style it is one of the best out there and the price is very good.

I love this perfume
I absolutely love this perfume. It was a total blind buy I got it at a reasonable price at my tj max. It last on me all day it lasted all day. To me it is a very feminine and classy perfume.

I would buy this product again
I really-really came to loving it. It was a blind purchase and my first reaction was rather negative: too powdery, too old-schoolish. But give it a chance, and it will surprise you. Vintage, but not old fashioned - just classy! Powdery, but only as a base on your skin - extremely feminine and soothing. Yes, you'll have probably to renew it several times a day, which I do. But mostly because i want to smell it more, I never have enough of it. Will buy it again for sure.

Generic and not nice smelling.
This is the only de la Renta I own because I am too scared to get disappointed again with another one of his fragrances, the reviews are confusing because this juice does not smell good at all.
