Launched in the 1930s to great acclaim, Acqua di Parma Profumo was rereleased again in 2000 in an updated and contemporarily stylish bottle. Acqua di Parma, hailing from Parma, Italy, began production in 1916 and gained widespread fame with an assortment of Hollywood admirers for their first perfume, Colonia. The perfume house saw a resurgence of popularity again in the 1990s due to the concentrated efforts of Italian influencers to bring Italian luxury back to the open market. The box that it comes in is just as elegant as the perfume. The history of this perfume is also very interesting. I am the proud owner of 3 Acqua di Parma perfumes and this one is my favorite.
