Ben Gorham, the founder of Byredo, founded his own fragrance brand based out of Stockholm, Sweden. The company got its start in 2006 after Gorham studied at The School of Arts, located in Stockholm. He began working with various perfumers, such as Olivia Giacobetti, who have developed many prestigious fragrances on behalf of the company. Gorham has an excellently creative mind, and many of the perfumes made by the brand manage to make an impression while having a relatively simple profile.
