Via Camerelle Perfume by Carthusia, This light, green, herbal fragrance was launched in 2006 and is named after the legendary shopping street in Capri, Italy. Via Camerelle opens with bright tops notes of lemon, orange, and bergamot paired with the herbiness of marjoram. The heart notes are a sweet combination of jasmine, lily, and cyclamen, which blossom before drying down into musk, amber and cedar. From spring through summer, this lovely perfume compliments any daytime occasion.

The house of Carthusia has an interesting history with legend dating back to the 14th century. Then, at the monastery of St. Giacomo, a bouquet of flowers was thrown away and the water in the vase was so fragrant that the prior took it to the alchemist, in whose hands it became the first perfume of Capri. In 1948, the old perfume formulas were discovered and revealed to a chemist in Turin. With that, the smallest perfuming laboratory was founded using the alchemy methods of Carthusian monks.
