Not like one bought in France.
Unfortunately, this perfume does not smell the same as the one my Aunt brought back to me from France. The French one has a cedar undertone, but this one smells like weeds. Sorry, but I don't recommend this perfume.

Oriental and floral in a modest way
I used this fragance about 15 years ago... suddenly remembered it and purchased it again. A trip back on memory lane and still a very nice and unique fragance.

very different
i bought this for my 40th birthday. I find it has a terrific die-down and can leave a faint smell on my skin even after 12 hours.

Amazone - not pinky-fruity-dolly type
Amazone - a great classical fragrance by Hermes, containing mix of citrus, flowers and a little bit of earth scent. It is lighter than other classical fragrances by Hermes (Hermes Rouge, Parfum d'Hermes, Caleche), so you can wear it everyday on every occasion. If you don't adore pinky-fruity-dolly type of fragrance, Amazone could be a great choice.

It was a Dejavu to me...
I had this parfum long time ago in New York and never forgot the fragance. moved around the country and forgot about it until recently. It was like finding an old friend that kept you feeling good. I am very fond of French parfum and have plenty of them including this one. Thank you, Vitoria
