Phenomenal.
Each of the original must's notes are tripled in potency but the galbanum and osmanthus are a mulched greens note and the vanilla isn't chemical vanilla but an oily vanilla bean extract. Freshly mowed lawn + mulched carnal florals + a chokingly sexy musk with vanilla bean syrup poured over it. It's too much but that's the point of an 80's masterpiece.

Must de Cartier Gold is Fresh, Green, Full of Earthy Spice
I ordered Must De Cartier Gold EDP recently. The red glimmering liquid in its beginning smells just like Must De Cartier with opening notes of galbanum, pineapple, mandarin and greens. The heart quietly dances briefly with notes of jasmine. But in the end--you get a dry down of earthy vanilla. I prefer just the Must de Cartier because, I believe vanilla belongs only in the kitchen! I will wear this in the Fall when I am baking apple pies and spice cakes which require vanilla extract. Waste not! Want not!
