Original Santal Perfume by Creed, Original Santal is an oriental woody scent for women that pays homage to India’s rich royal and spiritual culture and history. At its heart is beautiful and mysterious sandalwood, considered precious for thousands of years. It is a distinctive, memorable scent that also rewards those near to the wearer with its peaceful, calming aroma. Indian sandalwood opens the scent, kept company by other top notes of coriander, cinnamon, and pleasant juniper berries. Its herbal heart is comprised of rosemary, lavender, and petitgrain, all spiced with ginger. Base notes of tonka bean and vanilla add a warm, fragrant finish not easily forgotten.

Creed has been family-owned since its establishment in 1760, and it quickly gained popularity with royalty throughout Europe and also in Britain, where it was founded. At the behest of the French Empress Eugenie, the luxury perfumer relocated to Paris in 1854. This modern scent, created by company head Olivier Creed and his son, Erwin Creed, was launched in 2005. My go-to Creed fragrance

My first Creed was Green Irish Tweed. I still wear it weekly but, as soon as I started to use Santal, the compliments increased. Great fragrance for a man. Personally I believe it is could also be used by women.

Great Scent

Long lasting and only a small amount is necessary. It starts out mildly floral and evolves into a complex spicy / herbal scent.
