Love the fragrance of the after shave
My husband wore this after shave ever since I met him in 1988. Unfortunately he died and I don't have any of it left so I'm buying this for the memories. Too bad it's double the price since I bought it the last time. And I can't find it in the usual stores. Hope it smells similar to the original.

This is the fragrance worn by Norman in the Stephen King novel "Rose Madder". In this novel, the writer actually perpetuated the advertising slogan "Wear English Leather or Wear Nothing at all!" "Anna paused with one hand on the study doorknob, looking into the dark room which had been a pantry when she was a little girl. Her nostrils flared slightly and the frown on her face deepened. I use to purchase English Leather some 30 years ago from Myer Department Stores in Australia, and went off the market, not to be able to see it again until now. Gentle fragrance
My grandpa wore this as an aftershave. He gave a bottle to my son when he was five years old. Im happy i could still get this. I ordered one for my two older sons. This is a gentle smell. Its meant to be splashed on a bit and it dries to very light smell. Grandpa was a WW2 vet and my sons thought the world of him when they were little. They knew exactly the sentiment of this cologne. Blast from the past when men were men.

I've always lover English Leather. Originally I was exposed to the scent in high school but only the kids that well off were able to afford it. My dad used a different scent and would only buy and use it. My first job enabled me to afford purchasing English Leather. Some say the scent has changed over the years. Personally, I think the scent changes as it reacts to you body changes, that's why some believe the formula has changed and not longer smell as when they first used it. Great scent.

This is NOT English Leather!!!
English Leather was my favorite cologne back in college. I even saved an empty bottle just to occasionally take a whiff and relive old memories. What I got in the mail is NOT English Leather, and is not even close. If you're looking for the original scent, don't buy this. It's a total waste of money.

I've been using English Leather for over 50 years. As a young man I had very sensitive skin that was irritated by shaving. This product was the only after shave that cooled and "calmed" my skin and took the redness away. I've always liked the scent - not "fruity" like many other products.
