It does smell like a real devils food cake complete with that secret ingredient of a genuine DF cake(sour cream) but is super fleeting and dries down to generic chocolate wannabe scent. Nice for winter
It smells like 2 bite brownies, but fades in 8 minutes.You could wear it in the winter, when allergies go up.2.5 weeks to ship.13 business days, and it took a week to leave new york.Demeter lids are of poor design, so when the shipping company didn't put enough packing in the box of 3 perfumes ( like wow, I didn't spend enough money for them to afford to put enough packing in?), the lid came loose and some perfume leaked out.5-10% of the perfume spilled.

Ordinary smell for North America....
I live in North America. The smell of Devil's food is everywhere here, on each corner, in each bakery and store selling cakes. Very, very ordinary smell for North America. Maybe there is a point to wear it if you live on the North Pole but not in North America....lol...Plus, Perfume is very weak. I bought also Dark chocolate. Did spread both perfumes at the same time on different hands. Devil's food disappeared almost immediately. Dark chocolate did stay 1-2 hours.
