Diptyque Eau De Lavande Perfume by Diptyque, Diptyque Eau de Lavande is a fresh, spicy and herbal-floral blend that perfectly captures the raw natural beauty of lavender. A unisex fragrance, Eau de Lavande is not a conventional lavender fragrance, however, but a modern interpretation that introduces subtle woody and animalic nuances to create a uniquely compelling profile. The opening is pure licorice-tinged lavender, sweet, sharp, aromatic and clean. As the scent begins to settle and warm on the skin, the flanking spices emerge: woody and resinous coriander, spicy sweet and earthy nutmeg and subtle hints of cinnamon, hot and sensuous.

The French design house Diptyque was founded in 1961 by artists Desmond Knox-Leet, Yves Coueslant and Christiane Gautrot. The brand launched its line of fragrances in 1968, beginning with L'Eau, a warm spicy floral composition based on an old English recipe. Other designers who have worked under the label include Serge Kalouguine, Fabrice Pellegrin, Olivier Pescheux, Daniel Moliere and Olivia Giacobetti. All products are original, authentic name brands.
