Elizabeth Arden launched her first salon, then called Red Door, in 1910 on 5th Avenue in New York City. Nice chypre
This is a nice post modern type of chypre perfume. Patchouli is used instead of oakmoss in the dry down. This starts off w/ a crisp lime, and a juicy cranberry. It then progresses into a nice lightly powdery iris and a slightly leathery osmanthus. The dry down is a dusty tonka bean and patchouli. This is a good perfume for an office setting or just for wearing around the house. It is an everyday type of scent. Non offensive, clean and nice.
