Estee Lauder herself used this fragrance before bringing it to the masses. Her cosmetics brand was founded in 1946. Before starting her own business, she studied from her uncle to become a skin care specialist and chemist. When the first department store opened on Saks Fifth Avenue, it became an instant hit with every woman wanting to benefit from the brand’s products.
Vincent Marcello is responsible for designing the composition of this lovely perfume. He was predominantly active in the fragrance industry in the 1970s and created many iconic perfumes. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

I have been wearing this perfume since 1973 and am now 84. My daughter has followed someone wearing this perfume because it reminded her of me. It is my signature perfume but now have a terrible time buying it. I use it sparingly as I never not want to find and wear it.

Men followed me
The first time I wore this was in the late 70's. Men who walked by would stop and say they were in love with me! How did I smell so intoxicating? What scent are wearing?

A MUST!!!!
I stepped into First Class and the cabin was in an uproar! The scent of this perfume took over and memorized and hypnotised! The flight attendants sat at my feet almost unable to move!

I love the smell and always received plenty of compliments when I wore it. It has been unavailable for some time now in stores so I was releaved to see it on your list.. Please, please get some quickly. I also love the Private Collection Dusting Powder, it is heavenly as well.

Sensual Memory
I love wearing Private Collection. I know I can put it on in the morning and it will be there all day long and into the night. I'll be busy and forget I have it on and move around and catch a hint of the smell and it makes me smile, it's not overbearing but gratifying. My granddaughter will hug me and take a deep breath and say mmm Nanny you always smell so good. That's something she will always remember.

Classy and leaves a memory
I have been using Private Collection for at least 20 years. I still wear the cologne and was heart broken when they stopped making the body cream and dusting powder. I layered it and got so MANY compliments. Please start making all of these products again. Marjorie Smith
