Etro Jacquard Perfume by Etro, Created in 2014, Etro Jacquard is a floral sensation with a touch of citrus for contrast. Mathieu Nardin helped design this powdery fragrance. The perfume performs best when worn during the daytime in the spring or fall. The top notes start the experience with bergamot, black pepper, elemi and angelica. The heart notes blossom with iris, ylang-ylang and jasmine. When the drydown finishes its dance, you’re left with the soft, creamy base notes of vetiver, violet, musk and sandalwood.

Whereas many family-run companies eventually transfer control of the business to outside interests, the Italian fashion company Etro has not given into such pressures. Founded in 1968 by a man named Gimmo, the company is now being run by his four children: Kean, Jacopo, Veronica and Ippolito. Known for its paisley designs, the business utilizes these patterns on clothing, handbags and suitcases. It wasn’t until 1985 that the business began selling fragrances.
