The perfume was designed in 1999 by Mathilde Laurent, now the in-house perfumer at Cartier, alongside the legendary Jean-Paul Guerlain. The two worked for Guerlain, an iconic name in the design of women and men’s fragrances. In business for more than 175 years, the company often touts its penchant for innovating the industry with rare, exotic, and even synthetic material combinations. It pioneered this approach in 1889 with the release of Jicky, a perfume that included coumarin, a synthetic material. All products are original, authentic name brands. Fragrancex Does Things Right
This product is a perfume I've enjoyed for years. I'd like to take the opportunity to say that first time around I received the wrong perfume however fragrancex quickly corrected my order and allowed me to keep the fragrance I received in error. I received my fragrance in a fast turnaround. I purchased two bottles because I enjoyed the fresh grapefruit citrus scent. Thank you so very much for providing the original perfume and for going out of your way to make things right.

Uplifting scent
Although Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune was a blind buy for me, I feel it delivered exactly what I was looking for. For me, it's initially a very zesty/bitter white grapefruit scent that is quite pungent at first, but it mellows into something more spicy and complex. On my skin, I find it gets more patchouli/earthy as the grapefruit fades. I am so relieved I can wear it because I have heard how it can turn almost sour/musty on some... so I suppose it would depend on your chemistry if you can pull this one off or not. Hubby loves it on me too!

Great summer Unisex fragrance.
This should have been classified as a unisex fragrance. If you're a man who likes citrus fragrances in the summer, you are not going to find a more authentic grapefruit fragrance in the designer game. This stuff is incredible and niche quality. A big complaint for me with summer light fragrances is they don't last. This has decent longevity at a good price. This stuff is a hidden gem for the summer time.

What a disappointment!
I love most of Guerlain's perfumes and bought this one on the description only. What a disappointment! I can only describe the scent as rather sweaty and cold. Thank goodness I only tried it when alone for a few days; I tried it on various different days to be sure my judgment was correct and I would not recommend this fragrance to anyone.

So lively and fresh it'll make your day
I'd been after this fragrance for several years and it was always sold out/out of stock. Now I know why! It makes me feel optimistic and alive, full of energy and love of life. I know it sounds like a tall order but it is definitely true. If you use this fragrance when you're blue, it'll change your outlook immediately. My only regret is that I only purchased one bottle!
