Classics eau de cologne, not much different from 4711
It's lovely, classic, stylish, refreshing ... but actually not all that different from classic eaux de cologne such as dear old 4711 (which I've loved all my life) or Roger & Gallet. So it's probably not worth paying extra for the Guerlain name, but I'm glad to have tried it.
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend to a friend.
