Guerlain Ambre Eternel Perfume by Guerlain, Introduced in 2016, Guerlain Ambre Eternel is a unique fragrance created by perfumer Thierry Wasser. It is a spicy and woody perfume inspired by Eastern scents.
Top notes of cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, and ambergris are the beginning of your fragrant journey. These notes make way for fruity and floral middle notes of orange blossom, peach, and ylang-ylang. Top and middle notes are carried by warm base notes of leather, wood, and amber.
Guerlain is a French luxury perfume, skincare, and cosmetics brand that was founded in 1828 making it one of the oldest such companies in the world. After his death, founder Pierre-Francois left the company to his sons and it remained a family business until 1994 when it was purchased by Lvmh. The perfume comes in a rounded bottle with a deep purple body and golden accents. This beautiful bottle is inspired by designs of the East, much like the scent inside. Nicole here, and today I'll
be reviewing Ambre Eternel
by Guerlain, a powerful,
eastern-inspired scent that
launched in 2016 as part
of their Les Absolus
d'Orient collection.
Leather and ambroxan
dominate the scent,
supported by top notes
of cardamom, coriander,
and cinnamon, heart
notes of peach,
ylang ylang, and orange blossom,
and a base note of wood.
I recommend this scent for night
wear in the winter primarily,
and I love how long
lasting and intense it is.
