Guerlain Lui Cologne by Guerlain, An enigmatic fragrance that is animalic yet quietly transparent, Guerlain Lui is a serene floral woody fragrance enhanced with undertones of leather, balsam and spice. The openings is crisp perfection: a bright effusion of red pear pricked with hot, aromatic nuances of clove. Peppery and floral, piquant carnation blooms at the heart, embraced with sweet accords of vanilla and benzoin. Leather, wood and smoke merge with sheer musk to produce a softly seductive finish.

This scent was designed by perfumers Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser, and first launched by French fragrance label Gueralin in 2017. This luxury design house was founded by Pierre-Francois Pascal in 1828 and continues to produce exceptional modern compositions inspired by centuries-long traditions. Other popular unisex scents by the company include Le Parfum du 68 (2013), Quand Vient la Pluie Extrait (2007), Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria (2017), L’Heure de Nuit (2012) and Les Absolus d’Orient Santal Royal Collector (2016). Hey, everyone, Sharif here. And today I'll be reviewing LUI by Guerlain. This scent was composed by Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser, and it's androgynous character makes it a great unisex option for people. It's a warm, spicy scent, opening with clove and pear notes, before leading into heart notes of benzoin and carnations, and ending off in base notes of vanilla, wood, musk, leather, and smoke. I think it's a great option for fall and winter, and I'm really impressed by its longevity and projection. That's all for now. I hope you enjoyed this review. Liquid Incense

In an attempt to create a totally unisex offering, Guerlain gives us Lui. Presented in a large box as if being gifted, It may be meant to impress as the juice inside the cool black bottle in rather underwhelming. Starts out smelling a bit like a radial tire upon first spray, the vibe here leans fairly unisex yet more masculine and is a pretty linear smokey incense fragrance. A curious departure from the norm I'd say this is an acquired taste. I'll save this for Fall-Winter.

Pretty high class perfume.Also note the high price.

I apply every four hours.Draws compliments..I am always sniffing my arm.If one eats too much dairy I find my nose does not smell as well.Some people say on this site that this perfume didn't smell enough.This is usually why.I own a ton of perfume and know why. I can be very experienced.

It's wonderful.Not affordable by most people.If you can afford it then enjoy.Great for female and male.I am a female who is going to tell my son buy it.

Smokey, leather, spicey and vanilla.

A mysterious scent of sweet vanilla and benzoin with leather and cloves. It's leather, but its powdery sweetness blends into the skin, giving it a very mild fragrance.
