Hey, everyone. Nicole here. And today I'll be reviewing Shalimar cologne by Guerlain, a variant on the iconic Shalimar developed by Terry Wasser. It opens with citruses like lime, grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon. Leading into a floral heart of freesia, rose, and jasmine. And a base of vanilla, orris root, and musk. Vanilla dominates the composition, but its lightness makes it great for spring and summer day wear. And as a result this scent is rightfully much loved by its wearers. Well that's all for today. What happened to the round bottle of Shalimar colonge? I can

I have used this product for 60 years. My mom went on a cruise to the Virgin Islands and she bought this on the ship. I wore it ever since!

Delightful Shalimar flanker

This is NOT the classic Shalimar eau de cologne, but an EDT flanker named Shalimar Cologne. It's a poofy cloud of BRIGHT lemon and vanilla sugar, but it's a light sweetness, not heavy or syrupy. Surprisingly long lasting for how citrusy and fresh it is. If you have Eau de Shalimar, this one is smoother, sweeter and lighter, and the citrus top is zingier. It's such a beautiful, sunny, happy fragrance and discontinued, so if you want it, get it now because it's becoming hard to find. I'm fighting the tempation to buy a backup because this is gorgeous and quickly becoming one of my favourite iterations of Shalimar.

I do buy this product again and again

I am so pleased that this item is in stock at FragranceX. It is my most worn of a Shalimar collection that I have established over many years. It's a captivating, ravishing fragrance that is best described as an interpretation of Eau Legere, Eau de Shalimar and a touch of Parfum Initial. Wearable in all but the warmest days. It's actually EDT strength even though the name suggests a Cologne.
