Halston Woman Amber launched in 2010 and is bottled in a stylized opaque golden teartop. The outer carton is also golden and reflective with a black stripe near the base. Roy Halston Frowick was a prominent twentieth-century American designer known for creating the pillbox hat worn by Jacqueline Kennedy to the presidential inauguration in 1961. He launched his first ready-to-wear line in 1969 followed by his first fragrance in 1975. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Great amber fragrance, perfect for fall/winter
Great fragrance! I love the smell! Amber really is the star of this perfume! I also get a lot of incense and Sandalwood. The perfume is worth the money and the bottle and packaging are beautiful.

A Bit Dated
I read so many great reviews that the purchase seemed like a shoe in for my desire to achieve a warm amber scent for Winter but Halston Amber didn't thrill me much. The compilation of notes comes across as rather loud despite it's powdery drydown. There's a dated style to this fragrance. Yes, there is amber here but It's not what all those great reviews promised.

great as a base to add cool spicy, aromatic, warm spicy, oriental, earthy, perfumes or essential oils to create my own signature scent. my favorite mix is Halston Woman Amber with frankincense, patchouli, and sandlewood essential oil....caution-when using highly concentrated essential oils use a carrier oil to dilute.
