Just before lockdown I was on a vaporetto in Venice when a stylishly dressed, exquisitely groomed gentleman boarded. He was wearing a superbly tailored suit of high quality woollen cloth. As he passed, he exuded an air of confidence, elegance and class. This was enhanced by the fresh, subtle, striking fragrance he was wearing. I immediately thought, 'I'd like to create those impressions'. Hugo Reverse enables me to fulfil at least one part of this aspiration.

It smells fresh and clean! Very citrusy at the start, a bit generic but when it dries down comes a little woody with the vetiver. Good overall, easy for everyday, good for summer.

I have a diverse roster of fragrances three of which are from Hugo Boss. Men should be in tune with what scents suit them and combine well with their own body oils etc. A fragrance is meant to be noticed but not in the way that people think. It should be subtle, sophisticated, and not clear a room. Most discerning gentleman should have two or three go to scents in their roster. I'm really happy I added this one to mine 😉
