John Varvatos 10Th Anniversary Cologne by John Varvatos, To commemorate a decade of successful business, John Varvatos launched a new cologne titled John Varvatos 10th Anniversary in 2010. This cologne is actually an updated version of a fragrance that came out in 2004 under the brand name. This fragrance is perfect for those moments in life when you want to feel sexy and desirable. The top notes are Ceylonese cinnamon, bergamot and chinotto orange. The heart is where you find the main ingredient of this cologne, namely patchouli orpur. However, the core also contains black leather and Haitian vetiver roots. The base closes out the profile with Tamboti wood, fluid balsams, cistus resins and amber.

The brand house responsible for this cologne produces all of its fragrances with the assistance of Elizabeth Arden. In addition to colognes, the company manufactures watches, footwear, belts and much more. Rodrigo Flores-Roux is the perfumer who worked on this fragrance and many others from the brand house. Fantastic

I read reviews of this fragrance online, and it was receiving a lot of hate. I am a massive JV fan, and HAD to have this for my collection, so i took the chance. It arrived promptly (as it always does), and after the first spray, I was already in love. Reviewers were using words like "foul" and "rotten" to describe this scent, but that might be because their skin just didn't work with it. It's a beautiful spicy and warm fragrance with hints of sweet notes, and classic JV orange notes in the background. It's stunning, and I've had my lady friends give me their honest opinion, and they all love it. The price for the massive 124 mL bottle is amazing, and the bottle itself is stunning. The ONLY downfall is that it doesn't seem to hold for very long. It comes on very strong at first (no more than 2 sprays if you're going to be indoors), but then seems to quickly fade. The drydown still smells amazing, but it doesn't have the scent throw that I wish it did. Other than that, it's still incredible.

Yes, I would recommend to a friend.

I would buy this product by the case.

This fragrance rocks, I've gotten so many comments on how good I smell. I wear it everyday since I received it.
