What a waste.
This is the weakest cologne ever! No joke, it lasts 20 minutes and really has no smell. John Varvatos should be ashamed to have his name attached to this one.

i'm a varvatos fan, but this one is pales in comparison....
not dissimilar to the original or vintage, yet weak and lacking their presence. the bottle, while clever, is annoying to open, close, or even spray. I'd stick with the others if I were you.

More than I bargained for
This one to me feels like the result of a consummated relationship between JV Black and Artisan. Your journey begins with the audience of a well-balanced fruit and floral combo. This succumbs to a formidable rich leather and exotic spices aroma. The crescendo occurs shortly thereafter to a subtle but commanding woodsy leather that only those right against you can smell after about 6-8 hours. ENJOY & B-ENJOYED!

Very subtle fragrance and not overpowering, so that is good for many folks who fit that category. While the bottle is novel, it is a nightmare to open and close, so beware of that when buying this particular scent!

Just one word: my girlfriend loves it a lot and so do i!! love all JV aftershaves a lot!!by the way and i do have it all aftershaves from JVs ,this one i do have a couple as a back up,caz i am afriad it run out PS. it is super nice price comparing with other places almost halh price over here,thanx a lot

I went shopping for a new cologne at [@], something fresh and new, something that you don't smell everyday. After spraying 12 different scents on sample strips and allowing them to dry, I kept coming back to JV Star USA. After narrowing the search to 3, we kept coming back to this scent. Once the clerk advised me that this fragrance was brand new, I was sold. You'll love this.
