What a good buy this fragrance is.
I find this perfume to be comforting. I don't use too much or it can be cloying until it settles but just a little spritz will do. It keeps me company in a nice soft way and you just cannot beat the price.

Pretty gardenia smell
Lovely gardenia smell. Longevity is about 2 hours on me. Luckily, the bottle is slim and compact and carried easily in the purse. For the price, I can spritz it every 2 hours all day long. I find it easier on the nose than say, Elizabeth Taylor's Gardenia and not as cloying as Michael Kors signature fragrance. I think that if you love gardenia and tuberose, you will be very surprised and happy with Jovan's Island Gardenia for everyday use. Save the expensive stuff for special times :)

The tropics in a bottle
On me this fragrance has a toasted coconut, buttery note to it that saves it from being just a run of the mill floral. Sillage is low to moderate, so you can wear this to work without annoying your co-workers, however longevity for a cologne is pretty fantastic. I find that I can still smell it after 6 hours, and if I want it to last even longer, I layer it with Jovan Musk for Women. When I do that, it lasts 10-12 hours. The only downside to this fragrance is that it smells just the tiniest bit rough. By this I mean, it's not particularly well blended, and you can tell it's not an expensive fragrance. Nonetheless it's a lovely everyday choice particularly as a winter pick up. It's a bit too much in really hot, humid weather.
