Ideal for evening wear, notes include bergamot, musk, red berries, and blackberries. From the bitter orange tree, notes of petitgrain complete the base to provide the perfect balance.
L’artisan Parfumeur is a French fragrance brand who has been delighting their patrons since the 1970s. The company started after a challenge to Jean Laporte to make a scent to go along with a banana costume. Experiments turned into luxurious and unique scents which started the line. With a solid reputation and exclusive distribution, their products are ever in high demand. In 1978, the creation of Mure Et Musc was one of the first perfumes to use the scent of blackberries. Later, in 1994, the company was the first known to use notes of the whole fig tree in their perfumes. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

And today I'm
reviewing Mure et Musc
Extreme by L'Artisan Parfumeur.
This fragrance launched
in 1993, but where
most of the new
releases of that period
were based in
bright citrus notes,
this scent takes a
very different tact.
While it's a daytime
spring and summer scent,
is composed entirely of notes
of blackberry, musk, redcurrant,
and only a touch of bergamot.
I really love how
unusual, for the period,
it is, and highly
recommended it.
