Poivre Piquant Perfume by L'artisan Parfumeur, Inspired by an ancient wedding scene in the Kama Sutra, Poivre Piquant is a spicy, oriental fragrance for women. The scent opens with hot, bracing white pepper. Sharp zest is quickly joined by notes of warm milk, golden honey and sugar, lending the fragrance an irresistible, creamy brightness. A hint of black licorice is found in the heart, heightening the sweetness and lending a touch of mystery to the scent. The fragrance rests on an earthy, soft base of comforting sandalwood. This unusual composition is far fierier and more complex than the mostly simple gourmand notes suggest. Moderate longevity and modest sillage make it an excellent daytime scent that's at home in any season.

My ultimate favorite

complex scent, helps me to fall asleep, also very sexy, if you like the spicy fragrance, very suitable.

I love it

It's unique and it, I'm not sure that I would call it unisex though, for me it smells more than feminine enough. The pepper is by far the loudest voice amongst the notes and for all the honey it isn't too sweet, which is good. I get the milkiness and a hint of powder. This is a delightful perfume that I'd be happy to wear at any time and in any climate, I never screams, it just states firmly 'I am quality' and I would highly recommend it.

Amazing scent!

This is my fifth scent from l'artisan parfumeur and I love it so much! The spicy opening is what hooked me up the first time as its really unexpected and incredibly peppery. The freshness stays for barely a few minutes though as it transforms into milk and honey. It's a great unisex scent. I like mixing it with Safran troublant sometimes.
