Juice this complex should not be this cheap!
This is antithesis of fresh, fruity, sweet fragrances that dominate the market and definitely will make you standout. Initial smell is like walking through forest mixed with incense and resin. Incense and resin dominate at the start. Then it dries down into more calm woody scent. It projects very well for first 2 hours or so and then just lingers on my skin. Performance/duration is little lacking than what I like, but it does not smell synthetic at all. Spray too much and I am getting sneeze attack. Manage the timing and the spray quantity right and get ready for compliments (Approved by gen X, Y and Z females in my life). This is better suited for colder weather and I would mainly use it in evening. Fragrance of this quality and in such a classy bottle can rarely be had for such lower price. Hence two thumbs up!

I Love Vetiver
This is a great scent that is obviously borrowing from the original Encre Noire. I love it, but I was expecting longer endurance than I got from this version. I haven't noticed much difference between the endurance of the EDP versus the EDT. Both are incredible scents though.

Incredible value for money
Was repeatedly told that I was better off getting this than Hwyl by Aesop due to the similarities. I can smell that in the initial spray, but It's nowhere nearly the same especially once dry. Encre Noire ends on something a little more pungent as opposed to the earthy, herbal incense of Hwyl. Still a fantastic alternative, especially considering the price. Blind buy away

Smells like a rosiny old piano (in the best way possible)
As the title says, this fragrance smells like old furniture and pine rosin. A very dramatic and moody smell, this will most likely bring back familiar memories of being in a historic building. Also has inky notes and hints of pencil shavings (again in the best way possible). This version has a much more full bodied and dense smell that it's EDT counterpart (although both are fantastic and they're so inexpensive that buying both is well worth it).

10/10 for-life scent for me; good longevity; lower project
For the price, it could be one of the best ever. Niche / unique / non-mainstream scent, even vs. many vetiver fragrances. For me it works in any season for any wear - but that's how I feel about most fragrances - wear them when and how you want. Definitely signature-scent / daily-wear worthy and in that category (doesn't fatigue). Only drawback, if there is one, is that I wish it had just a bit more projection. Can be smelled for hours, but as a skin-scent.

a friend of mine tried some of my fragrances. After trying at least 5, he tested this one. This immediately overpowered the rest that was sprayed on his skin. definitely a niche type of fragrance. if you dont mind the boozy, brandy-like smell, This is a perfect cold-weather fragrance.

This is the best cheapie I've had.
This smells like rugged sophistication. It is not pretty, it is not necessarily pleasing, but it is beautiful—still most people will not like it. The best type of person to wear this is a young person (20-35) with a masculine and mature demeanor. This stuff right here! AMAZING. The first initial smell out the bottle is a little BOLD and Packs a Whallup but quickly transforms in a scent that screams I'm a Man and I'm here to proclaim it LOUDLY! The woody, vetiver smell is unlike anything I have ever encountered before. The wife absolutely loves it. Great projection and wear time of at least 7 to 9 hours. Would buy this again and again!

after the opening its like the inside of an old whiskey cask woody with slight aromatics/alcholis fruitiness I find it get more than its share of compliment in the fall and winter it not as versatile as the original but it is a great scent at a low price for its quality

Cost point is great and it slaps! Dark scent of Vetiver; I found this through a bunch of amazing cheap cologne top 10 lists on YouTube and it does not disappoint. It stays with you for quite some time, especially on clothes. Sillage is pretty great; lots of compliments. Masculine, mature smell, but I find it great for anyone for any occasion really. It smells great and it's pretty strong!

This fragrance is well priced for the quantity and has a fairly unique, inky/woody smell. Great for cool evenings, makes me imagine antique wood and books. However, the downside is that the projection and lasting power is short, roughly 2-3h and doesn't radiate much from the body.
