Mauboussin is a French company that has produced fine jewelry since 1827. During the century following its founding, Mauboussin became well known for its unique, artistic jewelry designs and now is best known for its stunning Art Deco era creations. During the 1920s, the jewelry entered a number of exhibitions and in 1925, won the prestigious Gold award at the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. sophisticated and well blended
Just beautiful...elegant, sophisticated and very well blended. Moderate sillage with 4 sprays. My impression of the notes....dark vanilla and praline, dark berries and then balanced out with softly sweet light flowers to make the darker notes sing. I call this is a low frequency perfume....it is not sharp but hums and creates a beautiful fragrance veil that you experience while wearing it. I Hope that makes sense. These are my favorite kinds of fragrances...no sharp edges.

Oriental Perfection!
This long lasting perfume has all qualities of oriental perfume mixed very nicely with French elegance. It's sweet, but not too much, it's spicy but not too loud, its powdery little bit and has something that reminds the 1st previous version of "Pour Elle". In the base it has little bit of masculine character layered perfectly on woody notes with a little bit of oriental/medicine vibe. Very unique creation and elegant elixir. I love it! :) Great job Mauboussin!
