Midnight Shimmer Perfume by Michael Kors, Midnight Shimmer is a women’s floral woody musk perfume with vanilla, woody, and sweet main accords. Announced in 2016, this scent, with long-lasting longevity and moderate sillage, is meant for fall and winter evening wear. It starts with top notes of quince, jasmine, and freesia, followed by middle notes of vanilla, white woods, and amberwood. The fragrance ends on Peru balsam, musk, and moss base notes. The flacon resembles a tall, dark tower with a gold shimmer base and a gold topper.

Michael Kors is an American fashion designer who studied at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. He launched his own women’s wear line in 1981, which became successful, leading to a lead designer and creative director position at Celine. In 2002, he introduced his men’s wear line and left Celine in 2003 to relaunch his brand. Kors entered the fragrance market in 2001 and works in partnership with Estee Lauder. Hey, everyone, Rachel here. And today I'll be reviewing Midnight Shimmer by Michael Kors. Midnight Shimmer as part of the same collection as Kors fragrances Sporty Citrus, Sexy Amber, and Glam Jasmine, but I think this one is my favorite. Vanilla dominates the scent with strong wood and musk notes as well. Other supporting notes include quince, freesia, amberwood, balsam, moss, and jasmine I really like this fragrance for nightwear in the fall and winter, in particular Well, that's all for now. Pretty scent with poor performance

Lovely, warm scent but the projection and lasting power are incredibly poor - even on clothes. Wouldn't repurchase for that reason.

Not original

I love this perfume and have for years. It's hard to get now but Unfortunately this isn't it it does not hold for more that a few seconds the original holds all day and is a lovely strong perfume.

This smells like an expensive version of Bare Vanilla by VS

I really loved the smell but it was really similar to Bare Vanilla by Victoria Secret so I would prefer the cheaper route

one of my favourites!

this perfume can be worn at any part of the day and the smell does not change although in humid weather (i live in Singapore); if you are a fan of vanilla fragrances then you should get this!

I love this fragrance but when I took the bottle out of the box it seemed like it had leaked because the box and bottle was wet

Beautiful, but weak

I saw the Demi Rawlings review on what a gorgeous vanilla this is, and she is right, it is. I think I must have gotten a bad bottle or something because I could just barely catch a whiff of it even after 2-3 sprays. What I could smell, was amazing though. If this had been stronger I would have kept it, but it was so weak I had to return it. I think I will go to the dept store and check a sample to see if it is really that weak or if I got a bad bottle.

Definitely buying the bigger bottle

I loveeee this perfume. It smells so good & lasts all day. If you like warm sweet fragrance then this is for you. Definitely will get compliments. Great for summer nights or everyday wear.

This here is amazing!

This stuff here is the stuff that will get you compliments! I've smelt it once on my co worker and instantly fell in love. This stuff is actually hard to find. So once you find it buy it and use it for certain occasions. Absolutely amazing!

Nice...

This isn't as "full bodied" and "warm" as I'd hoped it would be. It almost comes across as...watery?? Either way, it is a pleasant and very wearable woody almond scent and I like it, but I don't find myself reaching for this one often.
