Myrurgia started as a family business in Spain in 1916. The name comes from a combination of “essence” and “industry” in Greek. It began as fragrance company founded by Raymon Monegal, an industrialist with a fondness for chemistry, and his son Esteve Monegal Prat. Esteve received Parisian perfumery training and utilized it to bring Barcelona world-class perfumes and soaps with unique scents. After the company gained a name for itself locally, its delightful fragrances became available everywhere. Today, the company has more than 150 products under its brand from the past century.
