Nejma Puro Intense Cologne by Nejma, Released in 2010 alongside the original blend, Nejma Puro Intense is appropriately named for being a more powerful version of the original. Inspired by perfumer Christian Bousidan’s time spent in Havana, Cuba, this sensually masculine blend opens boastfully with top notes of antic rum and Caiprihina lime. Rich, energetic notes of coffee bean and cocoa make up the cologne’s heart, while a base of mahogany and tobacco leaf notes create a woodsy, earthy essence that blends perfectly with the intense indulgence of this lively fragrance.

Nejma is a collection of perfumes and fragrances spearheaded by perfumer Marie Lise Bischoff. Bischoff was inspired by the classic Arabic fairy tale of the heroine she named her brand after, and the heroine’s royal husband, with whom she had seven lovely daughters. There are seven fragrances in the collection dedicated solely to the imagined essence of each of the seven daughters. Today the brand was 20 fragrances in its collection.
