Five O'clock Au Gingembre Cologne by Serge Lutens, Five O'Clock Au Gingembre for men was created in 2008 by Serge Lutens. The most dominant notes for this oriental, spicy fragrance are the ginger, tea, and cinnamon. Other notes include bergamot, honey, amber, and cacao.
The bergamot is a mild and spicy top note but doesn’t come through as strongly as ginger, the other top note. The honey helps to bring out the sweetness of the amber, which is a simple accord of benzoin, labdanum, and vanilla.
Serge Lutens spent his early years as a photographer. By the 1960s and 1970s, many big names in the arts industry wanted to work with him. Also, in the 1970s, he started working with cosmetic companies, and by 1982, he released his first fragrance. Since then, he has received many awards for his work. The Fragrance Foundation has bestowed upon him the coveted Fifi award many times. Today, his company continues to produce fragrances in demand all over the world. Delicious smell
Used it in a tropical country during the evening and it smells great. Especially when it reminds people of gingerbread and the train is full of hungry office workers rushing back home from work. Heads turn the moment I walked in/out of the train- with a pleasant face and not disgusted looks. Now I feel like I'm the walking gingerbread man. there can be only 1 gingerbread man walking around so I'm not going to recommand this to my friends hahaaa
