Parfums Gres actually got its start as a fashion brand in the early 20th century. The head designer, Madame Alix Gres, used her background as a sculptor to develop fashions directly on models' bodies. Her reputation grew, and she went on to create clothing for royal families and members of the aristocracy.
Vincent Schaller is the nose responsible for creating Cabotine Gold. Schaller is based out of Paris and has developed fragrances on behalf of Firmenich. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

smells like it's been sitting on the shelf
I am very disappointed. I love the Cabotine perfumes, and I took a risk ordering from this site to try a vial of the Cabotine Gold, but was so upset when I received this. This smells like it's been sitting on the shelf for years. I cannot get a good sense of this perfume at all and will be returning ASAP. Not worth the money to buy from this site.

Pleasant but light
This one is pleasant but is not as bold as the other 2 Cabotines I have. THEY get compliments. As always, dealing with the site is pleasant and informative. The product arrives quickly.
