Quercus Perfume by Penhaligon's, Released in 1996, this perfume is sure to brighten your day and put a spring in your step. Quercus, like other fragrances in the Chypre family, is built on the juxtaposition of fresh citrus notes and an oakmoss-based accord, creating an aroma with just enough energy and sweetness without being overbearing. Amalfi lemon, lime and bergamot stir the senses and lead into a green floral heart featuring jasmine and lily-of-the-valley. The base centers around notes of oakmoss, sandalwood, musk and amber; this woodsy finish stays close to the skin, so you can easily wear this fragrance to more formal events as well.



Originally a British barbershop, Penhaligon’s released its first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet, in 1872 and soon received interest from nobility. Since then, the company has committed itself to traditional perfumery with fine ingredients and a touch of innovation, staying true through multiple revivals. Each fragrance is bottled in clear glass adorned with a ribbon, a classic flourish originating from William Penhaligon himself. All products are original, authentic name brands. Hey, guys. Nicole here. And today I'll be reviewing Quercus by Penhaligon's This unisex fragrance is a Chypre, with heavy citrus elements developed for the brand by Christian Provenzano. It's a well-blended scent with top notes of lemon, lime, mandarin, and bergamot; middle notes of jasmine, lily of the valley, and cardamom; and base notes of oatmoss, sandalwood, galbanum, amber, and musk. Wonderful discovery!

This scent was my first departure from my beloved Hermes in many years. I received a sample and fell in love. I want to try everything Penhaligon! So classy; perfect for spring and summer. Thank you for the amazingly fast delivery, too.
