Ramon Monegal Ambra Di Luna Perfume by Ramon Monegal, Launched in 2009, Ambra Di Luna is a fragrance that works well day or night, fall or winter. While primarily intended for women, it may also be worn by men. It is an Oriental scent with amber, woody, leather, and balsamic main accords. It has a predominant heart note of castoreum, which is the yellow secretion from the castor sac of North American beavers, along with amber. There is a leading top note of Egyptian jasmine, with a strong base note of sandalwood. Labdanum and vanilla round out this fragrance, which has moderate longevity with soft sillage. The flacon is elegant, resembling a crystal inkwell with a resin top lid.

Ramon Monegal is a Spanish perfumer who created his first fragrance in 1979. He trained at age 21 with Myrurgia, a perfume house founded by his great grandparents that supplied fragrances to Spanish royalty, and later in Geneva, Switzerland, and Grasse, France with master perfumers. After the Puig Group acquired Myrurgia in 2000, Monegal stayed with the brand to develop scents before becoming an independent perfumer seven years later in Barcelona.
