Ramon Monegal Cotton Musk Perfume by Ramon Monegal, Ramon Monegal Cotton Musk is a fragrance with musky, white floral, and vanilla main accords. While created mainly for women, the scent is also worn by men. It can be worn year-round, mostly during the day but can also be used in the evening. Launched in 2011, this perfume has primary notes of white musk and rose, followed by gardenia, vetiver, incense, and Madagascar vanilla. It has long lasting longevity and moderate sillage. The flacon is a signature Monegal piece, emulating a crystal inkwell with its black resin topper.

Ramon Monegal is both the nose behind his line of fragrances and the name of his own brand. Monegal was born into the family perfume business and worked for his family’s Myrurgia line from 1979 to 2007. He initially trained at Myrurgia before gaining further knowledge from master perfumers in Geneva, Switzerland, and Grasse and Paris, France. While he continued to create new fragrances for Myrurgia after Puig Group acquired that business in 2000, Monegal left the group seven years later to launch his own perfume house.
